When compared to networked devices it is real slow because networks operate at ten to fifty-four megabits per second. However, this standard is good enough for devices that are trying to communicate through bluetooth. This speed can be extremely slow when there are huge files that are being transmitted. For this purpose bluetooth is not the ideal way, it is better to do it through a network.

It is a huge convenience when one has bluetooth devices. Cell phones, computers, printers, monitors, and other devices are now bluetooth capable.
